Windows
A typical window replacement is a straight-forward process that can be completed in less than two hours. Windows are ordered in advance and installed once they have been built to fit the exact size of your existing window opening. The turn around time for windows to be delivered is about two weeks.
One alternative to ordering custom windows is to modify the size of the opening to fit the new window being installed. BSC Residential, LLC can go bigger or smaller depending upon your needs. A stock window is purchased and can be installed the same day after the appropriate modifications have been made. When modifications are made to a window opening, there is always additional work both inside and out to restore the interior and exterior finish materials to their original condition.
Another alternative is to build a cased opening like the window displayed in the picture below and cut glass to fit the opening. This opening can be finished with casing material, trim, and window stops to hold the glass in place.
