Flooring

Interested in New Flooring, We Can Help

BSC Residential, LLC is able to install the following flooring products:

Wood Laminate

Wood laminate flooring is an affordable alternative to real hardwood. Laminate flooring provides an attractive wood finish while being dent and scratch resistant. This type of flooring is generally described as a floating floor because each panel locks in place with the panels around it and does not require glue or nails to hold the panels in place.

Hardwood

New hardwood flooring is unmatched when considering a natural wood look in your home or business. Hardwood flooring is installed using 3/4 inch thick hardwood slats that are laid in no discernable pattern and nailed to the subflooring. Following the complete installation of a room, the new hardwood is prepped for stain and sealant. This prep work includes wood fill in any spaces or gaps in the new material and sanded to a smooth finish. The final stage of the installation process is the application of the appropriate stain followed by a clear-coat finish.

Hardwood Refinishing

Many homes have beautiful hardwood flooring hidden beneath aged carpeting material. The hidden hardwood can be brought back to it former glory by removing the carpet and refinishing the hardwood surface. The process of refinishing old hardwood is similar to finishing newly installed hardwood.

Hardwood refinishing begins with first stripping away any stain and sealant materials exposing the original texture of the hardwood flooring. Next, damaged slats are removed and replaced with new hardwood slats of the same species of wood. With the repairs complete, the floor is prepped with wood fill and sanded to a smooth finish. The final step is to apply the stain and clear-coat finish.

Ceramic Tile

Ceramic tile is another flooring option that BSC Residential, LLC will install. Tile flooring is typically used in kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms because it is impervious to water.

Tile is also commonly used as a tub or shower surround and as a backsplash above kitchen cabinets.
