The Details Matter

Fencing

Interested in a New Privacy Fence, We Can Help:

A basic wood privacy fence begins with pressure-treated 4×4 posts set in concrete to a depth greater than the local frost line while providing structural support for your new fence. Here in Central Indiana, the depth required is generally a minimum of two feet. The soil conditions and height of fence will determine the actual minimum depth. We at BSC Residential, LLC, will determine the necessary depth for your fencing posts and guarantee that depth is achieved. Additionally, every fence post we set is encased in concrete that will provide lasting stability and ensure structural integrity.

Day One:

On day one, we lay out the location for all fence posts, dig the holes and set the 4×4 posts in place using Quikrete bagged concrete. Allowing the Quikrete to sit overnight allows us to move forward the following day with the rails and pickets.

Day Two:

The second day and each day after, depending upon the size of your project, will be spent installing our three-rail support system between each fencing post and the pickets of your choice. The pickets displayed in the photos here represent a basic wood fence. The pickets used are dog-eared, white pine. This is the economic option that provides privacy and security while being appealing to the eye.

Gates:

Gates can be installed at any location you choose. We position the gates during layout on day one. A standard gate is a four-foot opening in line with the design of the entire fence. The gate should blend into the fence itself only noticeable by a walkway leading to the gate or the hinges and hardware that make the gate functional. Gates are built on site to meet your needs. We can do a double gate system allowing for vehicles to pass through. The four-foot standard gate is a standard, not a fixed size. We can build gates that suite your needs.

BSC Residential, LLC, Standards:

We will not construct a basic wood privacy fence using panel products you find at your local home improvement outlet. The quality of the panel systems is sub-par, and we do not want you to tell your neighbors we installed that fence for you.

We build all of our fences on site because our guarantee is quality.
